Sofia Vergara’s wedding dress took 1,657 hours to make. The 43-yer-old actor worked closely with designer Zuhair Murad on the gown she wore while tying the knot with Joe Manganiello in Palm Beach, Florida, reported Femalefirst .

“I was delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with Sofia on her dream wedding gown.

I wanted Sofia to look phenomenal on her wedding day, showing off her hourglass physique and enhancing her famous curves. She expressly said that she wanted to look sexy, so I created a design that blended soft sensuality from the transparencies of tulle with the ornate glamour of ornamented embroideries and mini pearls,” Murad was quoted as saying.

The gown was made even more eye-catching, thanks to the addition of pearls and sequins in the intricate bead work.
