Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M. Karunanidhi on Monday said the people of Tamil Nadu expected the Election Commission to bring to book those who were responsible for distribution and transfer of money even though the attempt to sell the state for money had been averted to some extent.

Asked about the prospects of the DMK in the election, he said the part would win adequate seats.

"The prospects are high for the DMK alliance," he told reporters after casting his vote in Sarada Senior Secondary School in Goplapuram.

He said the functioning of the Election Commission on certain issues was not to the liking of the DMK.
