Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, who is on a 3,300-km Narmada Parikrama (circumambulation of the Narmada), has entered Gujarat on Thursday. Mr. Singh started his journey, on foot, from the Brahman Ghat in Madhya Pradesh on September 30. He would be walking through 20 Assembly constituencies in Gujarat, including tribal-dominated segments such as Nandod, Dediapada, Jhagadia and Netrang where polling would be held on December 9. He had, however, said that he would not discuss politics. PTI
