New poll fad: selfies with candidates

The election campaign may have got its own version of the indelible ink mark on voting day – the selfie with a candidate.

At a public event in Greater Kailash-II, residents wasted no time in clicking selfies with ‘possibly their future MLA’. The AAP’s candidate from Greater Kailash, Saurabh Bhardwaj, was surrounded by residents as he left the venue of the event. One large group of GK residents managed to squeeze in themselves and Mr. Bhardwaj in the frame for a “candidate ke saath selfie”, which would duly be uploaded on social media.
