On Saturday, Delhi voted in its Legislative Assembly Elections for its 70-member assembly. This was Delhi’s highest ever electoral turnout.

Turnouts grew in the range of an increase of four percentage points (Krishna Nagar, the BJP’s CM candidate Kiran Bedi’s constituency) and a decrease of nearly three percentage points (the AAP’s CM candidate, Arvind Kejriwal’s constituency).

Delhi has a very high turnout, but Kolkata still leads the country in voter turnout, as it has historically.

All exit polls project an outright win for the fledgling AAP.

Exit polls project a 12-15 percent increase in the AAP’s voteshare, over 2013.

Results will be announced on February 10.
