Counting of votes for the high-profile Delhi Assembly elections, which set a new record in terms of voter turnout, will be taken up on Tuesday. A record 67.14 per cent turnout was registered in the polls on Saturday that sealed the fate of 673 candidates in the EVMs.

After being under President's Rule for over a year, the Capital is likely to get a popular government as majority of the exit polls have given the Aam Aadmi Party a decisive edge over the Bharatiya Janata Party, which have been in a direct fight against each other. One of the exit polls gave the fledgling party as high as 53 seats in the 70-member House.
