Chief Election Commissioner H.S. Brahma on Friday ordered the District Election Officers (DEOs) to ensure that all measures for ethical voting are taken and that the menace of liquor, money and muscle be completely eliminated for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi stressed upon the issue of border area sensitivity and directed the DEOs to hold meetings with their counterpart in adjoining States to check the inflow of muscle power, liquor and money.
