The Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have decided not to re-conduct the Class 10 mathematics examination anywhere in India, including Delhi/NCR and Haryana.

Days back, School Education Secretary Anil Swarup said the government would take a call within 15 days on whether the exam should be held in Delhi/NCR and Haryana, if at all, while announcing that it would not be held anywhere else. This had been stated days after the CBSE announced cancellation of the mathematics Class 10 exam on the day it was held after reports of question paper leaks.

Mr. Swarup tweeted on Tuesday: “...keeping in mind the paramount interest of students, the CBSE has decided not to conduct re-examination even in the States of Delhi NCR and Haryana. Hence, no re-exam for class 10.”
