Cartoon contest on climate change
The British Council in association with Ken Sprague Fund, U.K., is organising a cartoon contest on climate change. The contest is open to those in the age group of 18 - 35 years.
The various themes on which the cartoons can be made are: drought and water shortage, deforestation and rain forest destruction, melting of the ice caps, role of industry in polluting the atmosphere, devastation of the seas and disappearance of marine life, and climate change in an urban environment.
The entries will be judged by a panel of judges from India and the U.K.
Last date
The award winning entries and the ones that are short-listed will be exhibited in various places in India. Last date for receiving entries is November 30. For details, visit www.britishcouncil.org.in/LCF.
