Learning solutions for schools from NIIT
NIIT, a talent development corporation and trainer, recently signed an agreement with Infospectrum, a software product development and technology services enterprise, to offer Educational Resource Planning Solutions in schools.
Following this alliance, NIIT’s school learning solutions will extend its current offering for schools, to include educational resource planning.
An agreement to this effect was signed by L. Balasubramanian, president - NIIT’s school learning solutions, and Jay Chopde, CEO& Founder- Infospectrum, recently.
The alliance results in offering ‘Quick SchoolTM’, an educational resource planning tool.
The tool seeks to help schools manage information on academics, staff, students, examination, attendance, fees, schedules, payroll, recruitment, library, hostel, transport and inventory.
‘QuickSchoolTM’, which is currently being offered by Infospectrum in over 140 premier schools, would become part of the NIIT eGURU solution offering.
PG course in animation
Graphiti School of Animation, a training institute in Animation education founded by Ram Mohan, has announced a postgraduate course in animation for art graduates.
According to a release, the course has been designed specifically for art graduates who have completed their education in Fine Arts, Commercial or Applied Art or any equivalent course of study.
This is a full-time course for 12 months with semesters focusing on the pre-production processes of animation film-making. This course features puppetry, drawing, acting, film making and film review sessions.
