With time about to end, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins launched a shot from just inside the half-court to give his team a hard-fought 115-113 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With five seconds remaining, Carmelo Anthony had given Thunder the lead, only to end up on the losing side following Wiggins’ heroics.

Real Madrid win to keep pressure on Barcelona

An own-goal from Paulo Oliveira, along with goals from Marco Asensio and Marcelo handed Real Madrid a routine 3-0 win over Eibar, which took them to within five points of leaders Barcelona in La Liga.
