As the summer intensifies, sweat trickles down our necks and backs. Sidewalks burn as the sun’s rays beatdown mercilessly.

We can endlessly describe a summer’s day. A few summer words might help you.

Blazing : When the sun is shining intensely, you could say it is blazing , so is also a fire that is going strong and burning bright.

Blistering : The heat is extreme. So hot, it could cause blisters. Beware!

Muggy : That sweaty feel! That longing for the room that’s air conditioned and cool! That’s what the muggy dog days of summer can do to you.

Stifling : You feel suffocated and choked — be it a hot kitchen or a hot summer’s day!

So, be prepared. The blaze could be strong and the muggy air may be oppressing…Brave it, for the summer will pass by.
