Layvin Kurzawa scored an unlikely hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain powered into the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday with a 5-0 rout of Anderlecht, while Bayern Munich joined them in the knockout stage.

Thunder ease past Bucks

Paul George scored 20 points, Russell Westbrook had 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Carmelo Anthony added 17 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder breezed past Milwaukee Bucks 110-91.

Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo top-scored in the game with 28 points, but his solo effort couldn’t match the combined produce of George, Anthony and Westbrook.

PSG, Bayern through to last 16

Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich became the first teams to qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League this season.

While PSG produced another romp as left back Layvin Kurzawa scored a hat-trick in their 5-0 win, Munich ensured their passage to the last 16 with a 2-1 win away at Celtic.

Manchester United too have a perfect 12 points after four group games following their 2-0 win over Benfica.

Barcelona were held to a goalless draw by Olympiacos, Juventus came from behind in their 1-1 draw against Sporting Lisbon, and Stephan El Shaarawy inspired Roma to a 3-0 win over Chelsea. Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, saw their chances of qualifying to the next round slip further after a 1-1 draw against Qarabag.

Tennis

Thiem takes his time against Gojowczyk at Paris Masters

Dominic Thiem needed four match points to beat Peter Gojowczyk of Germany 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-4 in his second round game at the Paris Masters.

Frenchman Nicolas Mahut, meanwhile, upset Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain 6-4, 6-1, spoiling the latter‘s chance to qualify for the World Tour Finals.
