South Africa beat Bangladesh by 333 runs

Despite losing fast bowler Morne Morkel to injury, South Africa coasted to victory on the fifth day of the first Test.

The hosts took just an hour and a half on the final day to bundle out Bangladesh for 90, winning the match by 333 runs.

FOOTBALL

Isco scores twice in Madrid win

On a day when political clashes boiled over to the football field, Isco scored two goals to help Real Madrid defeat Espanyol 2-0. Lionel Messi scored twice as Barcelona remained perfect in La Liga with seven wins in seven games. Barca’s 3-0 win over Las Palmas, however, was held behind closed doors as a mark of protest.

In Serie A, Napoli moved into the top position alone with a perfect 21 points after Atalanta forced their way to a 2-2 draw against Juventus, second now with 19 points.

In Ligue 1, Marseille registered a come-from-behind victory against Nice as Lucas Ocampos scored a brace in their 4-2 win.

USA clinch 10th Presidents Cup victory

For the 10th time out of the 12 times the event has been held, USA defeated the International team to lift the Presidents Cup. The 19-11 victory was the result of their dominance through the four days.
