Chandimal hails Herath’s heroics
Sri Lankan skipper Dinesh Chandimal was all praise for Rangana Herath after the left-arm spinner bowled the visitors to an improbable victory in the first Test against Pakistan. Chandimal called Herath “an asset to the team” and even added that he wants Herath playing throughout his career.
By picking up six wickets on the final day, Herath not only helped his side defend a paltry target of 136, but also went on to become the first left-arm spinner to claim 400 wickets in Test cricket.
