Vijay Shanthi Builders has launched a residential project at a cost of Rs.120 crore consisting of 321 apartments of three-bedroom units with price ranging from Rs.35 lakh to Rs.40 lakh. The new project is christened Boulevard and will come up at Kandigai at Melakottaiyur (Vandalur-Kelambakkam road). Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Chandan Jain, Joint Managing Director, said all the apartments would have similar sq. ft. rather than mixing it with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. The major benefit of the project would be to develop a community living between like-minded and like-status people. Boulevard would have five towers and would have ground plus nine floors. It would also have 11 row houses. The project would be handed over to the buyers by December 2013.

The project is coming up at a four-way connectivity road with easy accessibility to GST, Tambaram Camp Road and OMR and Outer Ring road which connects Oragadam. There was also an advanced development of infrastructure facilities near the project such as rail and on-road service.

The company is at present developing four million sq. ft. and has seven million sq. ft of work in planning stage. He said Vijay Shanthi was having a market share of about 75 per cent among listed real estate companies in Chennai.
