Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) has posted a net profit after tax, share of profit in associates and minority interest (consolidated) of Rs.457.6 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014, as compared to Rs.415.2 crore in the same period last year, up 10 per cent.
However, total income was lower at Rs.4,548.4 crore against Rs.5,745.9 crore.
On a standalone basis, it has posted a lower net profit of Rs.321.4 crore as compared to Rs.374.2 crore. Total income has declined from Rs.3,593 crore to Rs.2,931.4 crore.
Towards the end of the quarter ended September 30, 2013, the parent company had diluted its holding in SU Toll Road Private Limited, TD Toll Road Private Limited and TK Roll Road Private Limited each from 100 per cent to 49 per cent and in the two joint ventures, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and BSES Yamuna Power Limited from 49 per cent to 28.82 per cent. In view of above dilution, the figures of the current quarter are not comparable with the figures for the corresponding quarter, the company said.
Reliance Power Reliance Power has reported a consolidated net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs.244.3 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014, as compared to Rs.240 crore for the same period last year. Total income has increased from Rs.1,206.2 crore to Rs.1,810.5 crore.
On a standalone basis, the company has reported a net profit of Rs.7.2 crore as compared to Rs.44.6 crore in the same period last year.
Total income increased to Rs.100.7 crore from Rs. 67.4 crore.
“The figures for the previous periods are re-classified/re-grouped, wherever necessary. Figures for the quarter ended June 30, 2014, are not comparable with the previous period figures as it includes revenue and expenditure related to 45 MW wind-based power plant, acquired pursuant to the scheme of amalgamation with erstwhile Reliance Clean Power Private Ltd,” the company said.
