P.R. Seshadri takes over as KVB’s MD & CEO

P. R. Seshadri has taken over as the managing director and chief executive officer of Karur Vysya Bank. He succeeds K. Venkataraman, who laid down office on August 31. Mr. Seshadri is a senior banker with experience of more than 25 years in areas of commercial and retail banking spanning multiple geographies. He started his banking career with Citibank N.A., India in early 1992. He was involved with Citibank India in various capacities, including managing director of Citi Financial Consumer Finance Ltd. and Citi Financial Retail Services India Ltd. till 2005. More recently, he held the post of chief executive officer of BFC Bank Limited, London.
