Ola offers food ordering service

March 21, 2015 11:59 pm | Updated 11:59 pm IST - WASHINGTON:

Ola, the SoftBank-backed taxi-hailing service in India, has launched a food ordering and delivery service in select Indian cities.

"Ola Cafe,” which works on the same lines of Uber Fresh, a lunch service started by Ola’s rival Uber in the U.S., will initially be available in select parts of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai, reported Tech Crunch.

Customers can place their orders inside the app between mid-day and 11 p.m., and their food will be delivered within 20 minutes.
