Silver prices recovered by Rs. 370 to Rs. 41,900 per kg in the national Capital on Monday on fresh buying by industrial units, while gold held steady in restricted trade.
Analysts said fresh buying by industrial units led to the recovery in silver prices.
On the domestic front, silver ready rose by Rs. 370 to Rs. 41,900 per kg and weekly-based delivery by Rs. 400 to Rs. 41,280 per kg.
However, silver coins remained stable at Rs. 45,900 for buying and Rs. 46,000 for selling of 100 pieces.
On the other hand, gold of 99.9 and 99.5 per cent purity held steady at Rs. 20,670 and Rs. 20,550 per 10 gram, respectively.
Sovereign also traded around previous level of Rs. 16,600 per pieces of eight gram.
