Mahindra Satyam has secured contracts in the Middle East and North African (MENA) totalling AED (United Arab Emirates dirham) 30 million ($8 million) in the second quarter of the current financial year.
The company closed substantial deals with organisations in eight regional countries in line with its aim to grow the existing roster of the regional clients, numbering 200. Of the deals closed, agreements signed with five new regional customers and additional orders from three existing customers revolved around delivering sustainable SAP, Oracle and business intelligence solutions.
Mahindra Satyam, according to its MENA region head Manojeet Chowdhury, is looking at doubling its business in the region in the next 18-24 months.
In the process, the company had invested in developing customer-centric industry solutions.
