L&T bags orders worth Rs. 1,100 cr

Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro on Wednesday said it has bagged orders worth Rs. 1,100 crore from various vendors for construction related works.

L&T’s Building and Factories Operating Company, a part of its Construction Division, has bagged new orders worth Rs. 1,100 crore for the construction of residential tower, ware-houses, mall and a factory building project, Larsen said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The order comprises Rs. 500 crore project from Raghuleela Lessors & Developers and Rs. 305 crore contract from Arshiya International both for the construction of towers and ware-houses at Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh, respectively the filing added.

Further, the company has received order worth Rs. 295 crore from various esteemed clients for construction of a mall at Kolkata and a factory at Haryana, it said.

These orders further enhance the order book of the company which has already secured orders for major design and build contracts in Airports, IT Parks and commercial place.

Shares of Larsen & Toubro were trading at Rs. 1,437.10 on the BSE, up 2.89 per cent from previous close.
