LG rejigs top management in India

Korean consumer durables firm LG Electronics on Monday announced major changes in its existing top management structure in India.

The company has appointed Y. V. Verma as the Chief Operating Officer for its India operations and he will be responsible for sales and marketing functions of the firm, LG said in a statement.

In other changes, LG has shifted Director (Marketing) V. Ramachandran to the rank of Head Strategy, the former business head of home and entertainment Amitabh Tiwari appointed as the Head (Sales), and Rohit Pandit has been promoted to the position of business head for its home entertainment division.
