Indian Bank has launched Platinum Master ATM debit card with additional features. Launching the card in collaboration with Mastercard, T.M.Bhasin, Chairman and Managing Director, said the card had enhanced value from the existing card.
Withdrawal limit
The per day cash withdrawal limit is higher at Rs.50,000 against Rs. 25,000. In addition, the limit in point of sales has been increased to Rs. 1 lakh from Rs. 25,000. The card will get rewards and offers through discounts for hotels, club membership and privileged access to airport lounges.
There was no need to enter PIN number for POS transactions as the card was signature based. Existing debit card customers can switchover to the new Platinum Master ATM debit card, Mr. Bhasin said.
T. V. Seshadri, General Manager, South Asia, and Country President, India, Mastercard Worldwide, in his address, said the Indian Bank customers could now enjoy a shopping experience with quick and secure access to their funds to pay for product and services in 32 million acceptance locations across 210 plus countries and territories.
