Honeywell to invest $34 mn in Gurgaon centre

Diversified company Honeywell India said on Wednesday that it will set up a technology centre with an investment of USD 34 million (about Rs 157 crore) to expand global research capabilities.

"The company will invest USD 34 million to establish a four lakh sq ft centre in Gurgaon. The centre will primarily have pilot plans for developing and demonstrating refining and petro chemical process technology," Honeywell International President (India) Anil Gupta said.

The center will also include labs for process and applications development for other Specialty Materials technology areas, including fluorine products and nylon materials.

Honeywell operates in aerospace, automation and control solutions and transportation systems.
