Automobile companies unveiled emerging concepts, new models and facelifts at India's flagship automobile show Auto Expo 2014 in Greater Noida with a hope that it would help revive consumer sentiments. Here are some highlights:

French car maker Renault showcased KWID concept car to target compact car segment buyers in countries like India. Its current offering in Indian compact segment is Pulse.

German auto major Volkswagen showcased its concept SUV Taigun, to be powered by 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

Toyota launched its all-new 11th generation premium sedan Corolla Altis and the bookings for the same opened today. The price will be announced in May 2014 along with the sales launch and deliveries.

Luxury car maker Audi unveiled its Audi A3 sedan along with the Audi Sport Quattro concept. It also showcased special versions of SUVs – Q3, Q5 and Q7.

Skoda Auto India took the wraps off refreshed Yeti, a 5-seat compact SUV, and the redesigned premium car Superb.

Harley-Davidson launched its Rs.4.1 lakh all new super bike Street 750.

Yamaha launched its automatic scooter – The Alpha, which promises a mileage of over 60 km. The retail price (New Delhi) of the scooter will be Rs. 49,518.

Bajaj Auto is looking to widen its offerings in the upper end of the bike segment. It has unveiled Pulsar CS400 and Pulsar SS 400, both powered by patented 375cc Bajaj engines.
