Google has signed an exclusive service agreement with Germany’s B2X to provide after sales service to its Google Pixel smart phone customers in India. B2X, a provider of customer care services for smart mobile and consumer IoT devices in India, will provide its service in 30 cities in India.

People who need help with their Pixel phone will benefit from a new and convenient service on their doorsteps.

Pixel owners have to contact Google’s call center and will be seamlessly transferred to B2X. After remote diagnosis on the phone, a B2X technician will make an appointment with the customer and have all required tools and parts at hand.

If the customer prefers to send in the device for service, a logistics courier will pick up the smartphone and return it after repair.

To minimise any inconvenience during the repair process, B2X and Google will provide a spare device to the customer while their phone is being repaired. Alternatively, customers can go to service centers operated by B2X for fixing any problem

“We will make sure that we exceed customers’ expectations and deliver seamless and fast service and support for any question people may have around their smartphones,” said Maximilian Grabmayr, CEO, B2X India.

Meanwhile, B 2X India has named Deep Prakesh Pant as its new CEO as Mr. Grabmayr has been relcoated to Germany.
