Fidelity to expand operations

The U.S.-based Fidelity Information Services (FIS), providers of core banking solutions, plans to expand its India-based IT and BPO services. The company has a headcount of 4,200 people. FIS will increase the headcount by 20 per cent in the next 18 months, according to Ram Chary, Executive Vice-President, Global Commercial Services, FIS. Addressing a press conference here on Thrusday, Mr. Chary said the company so far had 40 banking customers in India. It has five delivery centres in India.
