DSCL Energy to be in Dalkia India fold

Dalkia India, belonging to the Veolia Environment group of France, engaged in providing environmental services, has announced the acquisition of DSCL Energy Services Company (DSCLES), as part of its growth plan in India.

Veolia Environment, a 36.2 billion euro company listed on the New York and Euronext Paris exchanges provides tailor-made solutions to meet the needs of municipal and industrial customers in four complementary segments, water management, waste management, energy management and freight and passenger transportation

Dalkia’s plan also includes introducing new technologies in district cooling system and bio-mass fuelled power plants which offer strong potential against a backdrop of continued urban development, says a company release.

Russell Park, Managing Director of Dalkia India, has stated in the release that the main aim of the development plan in India was to enhance core capabilities in energy efficiency and renewable energy.

DSCLES is an energy consulting business company of DCM Shriram Consolidated group.
