CustomFurnish.com unveils new store in Bengaluru

Online furniture retailer CustomFurnish.com launched its first ‘touch and feel’ facility at Sarjapur Road, near Bengaluru. The new facility is spread across 1000 sq.ft.

According to the company, the customers will be able to design or modify existing furniture template quickly to design a product that fits their space, utility and budget. CustomFurnish.com is latest venture of Dr. Madhukar Gangadi, Founder & CEO, MedPlus Group, pharmacy retail chain.

“Online retail today is largely a catalogue based model in which what you see is what you get and it leaves a big gap in the online market for home interiors and furniture market. CustomFurnish.com with its next gen version of internet retail goes beyond this and gives customers the ability to design and modify the style, material, colour, pattern, size and finish of what’s available on offer to reflect their style and functional need,” said Dr. Madhukar Gangadi, Founder and CEO of CustomFurnish.com.

The company had raised Rs. 16 crore for this venture last month from investors including Satish Reddy, Chairman, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Srini Raju, Founder, Peepul Capital, Srini Koppolu, Founder, Hyderabad Angels and Anil Chalamshetty of Greenko group.

The online furnishing retailer also company provides a choice of materials that include plywood, engineered boards, veneers, acrylic, printed surfaces among many others
