Leading direct-to-home (DTH) service provider Videocon d2h has launched a new range of LCDs, which receive signals directly from the satellite without use of any set-top box (STB).

The in-built STB offers perfect picture quality by ensuring no signal loss. Available in 16 models from 19-inch to 42-inch screen size, the Videocon d2h LCD range is priced between Rs. 12,990 to Rs. 59,990, the company said in a statement here on Tuesday.

Depending on the model of purchase, customers are eligible for complimentary subscription of 3-12 months offering 260 channels across several genres like music, new, movies, entertainment and education, it said.

“The Videocon d2h Satellite LCD range is designed keeping in mind the sensibilities and tastes of the Indian viewer,” Videocon Group Chief Marketing Officer (Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances Business) Jaideep Rathore said.

“The Satellite LCD range is the first in the world with an in-built set-top box providing uncomplicated and superior experience to our customers,” he said.
