TT Logistics (TTL), a subsidiary of the TTK Group that provides services across the logistics, insurance and Consulate verticals (managing back office visa processing services to major Consulates in India and abroad) has launched its customs bonded trucking service using Chennai as its hub. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Arun Vasu, Chairman and Managing Director, TTL, said the company had invested Rs.10 crore to start this business vertical and it would invest another Rs.10 crore on expansion by the end of the first year of operations. TTL will start its operations in Chennai while connecting Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Mumbai and Coimbatore. The company would look at providing services to all international flight operators and cargo fleet.

Mr. Vasu said TTL had designed a fool proof system for safe transit of cargo so as to ensure the clients timely delivery of their cargo.

The company planned to expand its presence in the north and eastern parts of the country to achieve a pan-India presence by the end of the third year. It also planned to cater to niche segments of cargo movement and would look at starting its Reefer Truck (refrigerated trucks) operations by the end of the second year.
