Tata Elxsi and Narayana Hrudayalaya to develop healthcare solutions

Tata Group company, Tata Elxsi has entered into an agreement with Bangalore-based Narayana Hrudayalaya to develop affordable healthcare solutions.

The partnership will develop devices through innovation, value engineering and new technologies, which will help to drastically reduce the cost of procedures, a press release said.

Under the agreement, Tata Elxsi, will undertake the entire design and development work of the devices, while Narayana Hrudayalaya will provide support for problem identification, domain knowledge and clinical trials, the release said.

“The partnership will indeed aim at making a substantial difference for both the doctors using the devices and patients who are paying for the treatment,” Tata Elxsi’s Managing Director, Madhukar Dev, said.

Based in Banglore, Tata Elxsi has presence in US, UK, Germany, Canada and Japan.
