Sun TV to pay Rs.2.50 second interim

Sun TV Network posted a marginal rise in its advertisement revenues to Rs.244.45 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2012, from Rs. 235.47 crore during the year-ago period. Total income was lower at Rs. 442.95 crore against Rs. 469.88 crore in the year-ago period. The net profit stood at Rs. 151.65 crore against Rs. 180.12 crore. The directors recommended a second interim dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share. A similar first interim was paid in August.
