Sify first quarter revenues at $50.73 m

Sify Technologies (Sify), a leader in managed enterprise, network and IT services in India with growing global delivery capabilities, has reported consolidated revenues of $50.73 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2011, about 31 per cent higher than in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The growth was driven by revenues from enterprise services which grew 40 per cent over the corresponding quarter in the previous year. This included a $10.3 million project executed for a large telecom company, says a company release.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation has increased to $2.80 million from $0.51 million.

The net loss, before tax, has come down to $1.91 million from a net loss of $4.05 million in the quarter under reference, the release added.
