Rs.4 dividend from Apollo Hospitals

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise reported a 25.97 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs.59.32 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012, against Rs.47.09 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal, the company said in a filing to the BSE. Net sales stood at Rs.744.56 crore against Rs.621.40 crore.

The company's board has recommended a dividend of Rs.4 per share for the year ended March 31, 2012.

Consolidated net profit of the company for the year ended March 31, 2012, stood at Rs.211.02 crore as against Rs.174.02 crore in the previous fiscal. Net sales rose to Rs.3,147.53 crore from Rs.2,605.35 crore.
