Rs.2 interim from HCL Tech

HCL Technologies, on Wednesday, reported 28.7 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs.602.50 crore for the January-March quarter of 2012, while its revenues went up by 26 per cent to Rs.5,215.60 crore. The company also announced an interim dividend of Rs.2 per share of the face value of Rs.2 each.

During the quarter, the company recruited 1,394 people, taking its total headcount to 82,464.
