Paramount Airways to operate as per schedule

Paramount Airways, the country’s premium business class private airline, on Monday said the Delhi High Court has directed the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to set aside the deregistration of three of its aircraft and allow resumption of flights.

The airline has a fleet of Embraer E-170 aircraft that can seat 72-75 passengers in the business class. The DGCA had deregistered the aircraft after a lessor petitioned the regulator that the airline had defaulted on payment for the aircraft, a claim denied by the airline.

The airline Managing Director M. Thiagarajan told The Hindu that the flights of the carrier would operate on schedule from Tuesday.
