Launches two new devices under TTSL brand

Olive Telecommunication, a leading convergence solutions device developer, has announced a strategic alliance with Tata Teleservices and has launched two new convergence devices under the Olive Convergence brand portfolio.

The Olive Nexus V-R29 is a travel router with multiple connectivity options such as Edge, 3G, EVDO, ADSL and WiMax. The other product the Olive Genie V-ME150 is a multi-purpose device with mobile broadband access-enabled modem, FM radio, Dictaphone and a digital audio player with a memory capacity of 32 GB. Both products are expected to be available in a week.

Under the alliance with Tata Teleservices, Olive Genie would be made available under the TTSL brand portfolio across its outlets. In the past, Olive Telecom had launched the high-speed broadband access Zipbook with TTSL.

Speaking at the launch of the new products, Anil Sardana, Managing Director of TTSL, said, “we are confident that in today's competitive scenario, these products will add to the customer experience and enhance our portfolio of high-speed data access offerings."

According to Olive Communication Chairman Arun Khanna, “after the successful launch of India's first hybrid mobile phone, we are extremely proud to launch the Olive Nexus and the Olive Genie. These products promise to un-complicate and un-clutter the lives of our consumers and create a new benchmark in convergence products.'' The company plans to come up with two or three new devices every month and has targeted sales of 10 million devices by the end of next year.
