Vodafone Essar on Thursday launched new world calling cards for its pre-paid and post-paid customers, offering per second tariffs for STD and ISD calls across all destinations.
Besides offering STD at one paisa per second, Vodafone new world calling card tariffs are 4 paise per second for the U.S., and Canada, 5 paise per second for China, 6 paise per second for Southeast Asia, and 12 paise per second for Gulf nations. Similarly, the call rates for the U.K. and Europe are 4 paise per second for fixed line and 12 paise per second for mobile, while for Australia, New Zealand is it 5 paise per second for fixed line and 13 paise per for mobile.
