Eyeing bigger share in the Indian smartphone market, Motorola on Monday launched all-new ‘RAZR', a sleek design handset loaded with latest features and applications.
Priced at Rs.33,990, the mobile phone is thin and lightweight, and comes with 4.3-inch super AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display. This is Motorola's first major handset launch since its acquisition by Internet giant Google.
The Motorola RAZR is equipped with 1GB RAM, dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and Google's Android 2.3 operating system for fast user interface and the power to multi-task.
It is also preloaded with the Motorola MOTOCAST application for streaming or downloading content directly from personal computer. It has front-facing high-definition video camera and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.
“One of the best-selling mobile phones of all time, the original Motorola RAZR redefined what a mobile phone was as people worldwide proudly flaunted their fashion items…the new smartphone has set a new benchmark and help Motorola consolidate its position in India,” said Motorola Mobility Mobile Devices Business (Country Head-Sales and Operations, India and South West Asia) Rajan Chawla.
