Mahindra Satyam joins Genivi Alliance

Mahindra Satyam has announced that it has joined the Genivi Alliance, an automotive and consumer electronics industry association working on development and adoption of an open In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) reference platform.

Mahindra Satyam would adopt an open source IVI platform and drive development of globally competent infotainment solutions.

It would leverage Genivi specifications and implementation guidelines for developing solution to automotive original equipment manufacturers and Tier-1s to reduce costs and time to market benefitting the end consumers.

The company would focus on accelerating innovation and delivering value proposition to customers besides enhance quality of infotainment solutions, according to a press release.
