L&T bags two orders worth Rs 1,195 cr from ONGC

Engineering major Larsen and Toubro on Monday said it has received two orders worth Rs. 1,195 crore from State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for construction related works.

The company will set up an additional processing unit at the gas processing complexes of ONGC at Hazira and Uran, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The scope of work includes project management, construction and engineering related works and handing over the new processing units to the owner, the filing added.

The USD 9.8-billion construction giant has already established onshore gas processing complexes for Reliance Industries at Kakinada and Cairn Energy at Barmer.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs. 1,870 on BSE, up 0.05 per cent from the previous close.
