LIC Housing Finance Q2 net up by nearly 26 per cent

LIC Housing Finance on Thursday said its net profit rose by 25.85 per cent to Rs. 171.24 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, against the same period last fiscal.

The total income of the company rose to Rs. 834.89 crore for the latest quarter ended September 30, against Rs. 704.68 crore in the same period last fiscal, LIC Housing Finance on Thursday said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Shares of the company were on Thursday trading at Rs. 777.95 on the BSE, down 1.51 per cent from its previous close.
