LIC Housing Finance net profit up 15 p.c. at Rs 153.57 cr

LIC Housing Finance on Monday posted a 15 per cent jump in net profit at Rs. 153.57 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009.

The housing finance company’s net profit in the corresponding quarter last year was Rs. 134.33 crore, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.

LICHF’s total income increased by around 15 per cent to Rs 880.46 crore in Q3 FY’10 from Rs 766.68 crore in Q3 FY’09.
