Mumbai-based King Kaveri Trading Company, which distributes products of Chinese firm Fuwa in India, today said it expects a turnover of Rs 500 crore in the next two years.
The company, which distributes Fuwa products like trailer axles, suspensions and wheel rims in India, reported revenues of Rs 73 crore in 2010-11.
“We are targeting revenue of more than Rs 500 crore in the next two years with the portfolio that we offer, including truck axles and components, in the Indian market,” King Kaveri Trading Company (KKTC) President (Operations and Business Development) Ishawn Arora told reporters here.
The company is looking to to cross Rs 100 crore turnover in the current fiscal, Arora added.
KKTC’s major customers in India include Asia MotorWorks, Ashok LeyLand and Motors.
The firm has started supplying trailer axles to Tata Motors and also is in talks with various other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for the supply of truck axles.
“We are in discussions with Volvo and Mercedes Benz for truck axles,” Arora said.
China-based axle manufacturing firm Fuwa sold more than 8 lakh axles in nearly 65 countries around the world in 2011.
KKTC has supplied nearly 1.5 lakh axles in the Indian market since 2005, when it started operations in the country.
