Kansai Nerolac Paints, a subsidiary of Kansai Paints Company, Japan, has launched a new initiative, Paint the Change. Kansai Nerolac is the second largest paint manufacturer in India and has a presence in decorative and industrial paints. The new initiative aims to encourage consumers to donate unused or left-over excess paint made by any manufacturer that can be used to paint and beautify structures that are in need of beautification.

Addressing a press conference, H. M. Bharuka, Managing Director, said, “While we have always been providing products that are safe and minimise impact on our environment, Paint the Change is our endeavour to create a platform to empower consumers to make the change around them.” Mr. Bharuka said “Consumers can contact their nearest collection centres volunteered by paint dealers who would collect the unused paint from them or drop it at company depots and showrooms.” The initiative was launched along with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, the brand ambassador for Kansai Nerolac Paints.
