Isgec, Hitachi form joint venture

Isgec Heavy Engineering and Hitachi Zosen Corporation of Japan, on Monday, joined hands to form a joint venture — Isgec Hitachi Zosen to make specialised and critical process equipment with an investment of Rs.100 crore.

Isgec Heavy Engineering is a leading global supplier of process equipment. Hitachi Zosen Corporation is a Japanese engineering giant. The joint venture will use one of the manufacturing facilities of Isgec located at Dahej in Gujarat. Isgec will hold 51 per cent stake in the new venture. Hitachi will hold the balance.
