Infotech Enterprises, an engineering services provider, has announced reorganisation of its portfolio into four business units covering aerospace, heavy equipment, transportation and hitech, utilities telecom and content.

The reorganisation was aimed at giving a focussed attention to the verticals to leverage the potential offered by each of them. “Each sector had potential of becoming an entity with multi-million dollar turnover,” Chairman and Managing Director B. V. R. Mohan Reddy said.

The company announced plans for ramping up its headcount by 1,500 during the year to manage its operations in addition to the existing over 9,300. The Hyderabad-based IT firm registered revenue of Rs.1,531 crore during the fiscal ended March 31, 2012, with 30.7 per cent year-on-year growth, and a net profit of Rs.161.40 crore, marking 15.5 per cent growth over the previous fiscal.
