With the induction of a new Airbus 320 aircraft in its fleet, budget airline IndiGo will operate six new flights on the Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Kochi routes starting from Friday, the company said.
IndiGo will operate its fifth flight on the Delhi-Kolkata-Delhi sector and third non-stop flight on the Kolkata-Bangalore-Kolkata sector effective from Friday, a company press release said here on Thursday.
In addition, Kochi will be connected with Bangalore and Kolkata and the airline will provide increased frequencies on these routes and offer greater travel options for its customers, it said.
After taking the delivery of the new Airbus 320, the airline’s fleet size now stands at 26.
With the introduction of six new flights, IndiGo will offer 176 daily flights across 22 domestic destinations.
